SHITENNO-JI TEMPLE
This Temple was established by Prince Shotoku.
However, most of the temple buildings today
were rebuilt after World War II. It is impressive
to see the temple buildings of the Nandai-mon
Gate, the Chu-mon Gate, the five-story pagoda,
the Kon-do Hall, and the Kon-do Lecture Hall
in this expansive compound. |

KUROMON MARKET
Kuromon Market is the most active and busiest
food market. On both sides of the networks
of the narrow streets, approximately 150 food
shops sell a variety of the freshest food,
such as fish, meat, vegetables, fruits and
dried seaweed. Customers from the entire Osaka
City, not only house wives but cooks of highclass
restaurants, who look for the best ingredients
for their Japanese cooking shop here. You

DOTONBORI
A wide variety of Japanese stage art can be
seen in this quarter. At night, the dazzling
neon signs reflecting on the waters of the
canal add to the gaiety of the quarter. Tour

Rinku Premium Outlets has recently been expanded
and is now the largest outlet center in Japan.
